Little Link

Hello there....my name is Kim and I am a slacker.  I have not blogged in over 2 weeks.  I am in recovery and my goal is to get back in the groove and blog at least 3 times a week.  Please hold me accountable.

Okay, there I've said it out loud.  There has been so much going on around here lately...the baby has been here every day, baseball is crazy, the business is booming, there has been a birthday and a bridal shower and to top it all off, we have less than a month till the wedding. There you go....all my excuses why I haven't blogged in FOR-EVER.  Please tell me it's okay, that you haven't abandoned me, and that you are still interested.  I need you!

I'm not even sure where to start....but, I think a good laugh is the best place:

Hehehehe...every time I see these photos, I laugh hysterically....so cute!

It is my blogging day over on the Simple Stories blog and you can see more of the layout details and some cards too.  Head on over there and take a peek.

I will be back - I promise - with more photos for you!

Playing Catch-up!

Well the countdown to the wedding has started...and it seems I have no time for any usual activities like scrappin' or bloggin'!  But, I have a few minutes today in between cleaning, baseball and a bridal shower, so I thought I would at least post the few things I accomplished at the retreat a couple weeks ago!

Honestly, I spent most of the retreat online, catching up with emails, spreadsheets and ordering for the store....but, I did manage to play a few rounds of BOSSY SCRAPPER!  Love that Andrea always knows how to help my mojo along!

Here you go:

There you have it....the extent of my scrappin' at a 2 day retreat!  I know....usually I can manage like 20 layouts!  But, I love them nonetheless and am thankful for the down time to relax, catch up, and visit with my girlfriends!

It's going to be an AWESOME birthday!

Luke is turning 12 this month....wow....and it's getting harder and harder to come up with fun birthday presents for him.  He's at the stage when all he wants is gift cards!  So I had to get a little creative...of course I can't show you here or it wouldn't be a surprise for him.  Here is a sneak peek though:
