I'm an ADDICT!

Funny, huh? Actually, I am, an Addicted Scrapper that is! After winning the contest last month, I was given the honor of being the Guest Design Team Member in August for Addicted Scrappers! I was so thrilled when I got word that I would get a chance to play with all this:





You all know that October Afternoon ranks right up at the top of my favorites list! And believe it or not, I had yet to acquire any of this fabulous stuff!

They have two awesome kits in August, this one is titled, "Apple of my Eye" and is there "girl" kit. However, you can see that I used it for my boys too! The second kit is their "boy" kit and it is fabulous too. It is full of the new Autumn Leaves line, Cuteworld!

The final item is a paper bag gift card holder. Credit for this idea goes to a scrappin friend of mine, Joy Madison. She has some fabulous ideas and this is an old favorite of mine that I find myself creating a lot! You can see more of her fabulous creations here.





Head over to their site - there was so much to this kit that I still have lots of fun stuff left over! In addition, they have some great add-ons to both kits!

wow-two posts in one day!

Amazing---life is slowly returning to normal! I was able to scrap a bit today and thought I would share!

I also got to play with transparencies today! I am loving them!

The first one was done for Brooke at the Urban Scrapbooker, using the Narratives line from Creative Imaginations. Yes, this is me and my brother way back when!

This next one is for week #3 over at Scrap Love for their summer time challenge series. You needed to usee a transparency, a song title and have journaling.

Challenge Layout & beach photos!

So, I finished my challenge layout just in time today for the contest over at www.scraplove.com. The challenge was to dig through your junk drawers and pull out 3 items to use on your page.

I used:
1-Coopers brand new leash that he chewed up within a week
2-3 large white paper clips
3-An old orange file folder



Also, I have my beach photos cropped and ready to share---only took me 3 weeks! There are tons of them---long post!

I do have to share one last photo---this one was sent to me by my mom---this is her new kitten Zena - asleep on her heating pad---she is one spoiled kitten!
